SOTA Spotlight: Katelyn Perl
Katelyn Perl is a second year Applied Physiology and Kinesiology major with a specialization in fitness and wellness. She has recently joined SOTA this semester after discovering the field of occupational therapy and is excited to be a part of the organization. Along with being a part of SOTA, she also serves as secretary for the organization Gator Pals. Gator Pals is a volunteer-based organization that offers opportunities for students to play various sports with individuals with disabilities at the Sidney Lanier Center. In addition, she is a part of the organization Gator Alliance for World Health, serving as a medical aid trip coordinator. Throughout her experience at UF thus far, she has realized her passion for occupational therapy and hopes to become a pediatric occupational therapist in the future.
